We would like to invite you to our regular club meetings. Our next regular meeting will February 7th, 2012 at 6pm at the Trace Grill in Ridgeland. The Trace Grill is located at 574 Hwy 51N in Ridgeland (behind Quiznos in the Gas Lamp Village). We hope to see you all there.
We are currently planning our annual Safety Seminar for 2012. This is tentatively planned for the first Saturday in March (the 3rd). We will post more information about this shortly along with confirmation of the date and topics. Please let us know if you are planning to attend so we can start our roster. Also if you would like to have any specific topics, please let us know of your interests (balloon related, of course).
If you are interested in joining our club or want to just come visit at one of our meetings, please send a message to the club email so we can add you to our email listing for notices. We look forward to seeing you all soon at one of our meetings or get-togethers.
The Balloon Federation of America (BFA) is looking for Mentors (and members) for their Junior Balloonists camp. This program provides an opportunity for interested balloonists between 13 and 18 to participate in a great balloon educational opportunity. If you are interested in participating as a Mentor or as a Junior Balloonist, or if you would like to make a contribution to the club for a club scholarship, just get in touch with us and we will try to help it happen for you.
