Hello BFA Members,

Your Board of Directors is scheduled to meet the first weekend of April in Indianola, Iowa for a work session. There are many topics up for discussion and you are encouraged to contact your BFA representative if you would like more information. Results of that meeting will be the subject of an upcoming email release so watch your email for the latest news.

The BFA summer camp t-shirts are for sale . As in year's past, we are listing the names of those who provide full scholarships to camp on the back of the shirts. The cost for a camper to attend camp is $395 for the week. We welcome balloon clubs and businesses to help train our next generation of pilots. If you would like to support the camp by purchasing a camp t-shirt, please call Sharon at 515 / 961 - 8809 and give her your name and shirt size by May 1st. The shirts will be mailed the middle of June. The cost for a shirt is $35 and that includes shipping. The BFA office can take a tax deductible credit card donation or you can mail a check to

Aspiring balloonist and crew aged 13-18 are invited to this year's camp (info and registration forms at www.bfacamp.com) . Camps are scheduled for Tyler, Texas July 12-16 and Albion College Campus, Michigan July 19-23. Volunteers for the Texas camp are needed . Photos from the 2008 camp are now on the camp website so stop by and see how much fun this exceptional group of teens had!

Pilot training and safety are the theme for the 2009 flying season so please support your local balloon clubs by attending a safety seminar. The insurance discounts are also welcome.
