Home of the Mid-Mississippi Balloon Club!
Come join us at our regular meetings. We usually meet the 1st Tuesday of each month. The meetings begin about 6:30pm. The March meeting will be our annual Safety Seminar which will be held on Saturday, March 6th, 2010. We have a nice selection of topics for this year (see the schedule). We will also be conducting our annual Balloon Inspections during the week leading up to the Safety Seminar. If you can, please bring your balloons early so we can have all the balloons finished up by the end of the Safety Seminar. To schedule a delivery of a balloon system for inspection, please contact Joe McKay (601-750-9202). Thank you.

The Balloon Federation of America (BFA) is looking for Mentors (and members) for their Junior Balloonists camp. Two Mississippi members attended last year's camp which was held in July. The BFA is also accepting contributions for scholarships for next year's camp which will be sometime in July. This program provides an opportunity for interested balloonists between 13 and 18 to participate in a great balloon educational opportunity. If you are interested in participating as a Mentor or as a Junior Balloonist, or if you would like to make a contribution to the club for a club scholarship, just get in touch with us and we will try to help it happen for you.
